Your 14-Day Free Trial: What to Expect
How the 14-day free trial works: why a card is required, when you are charged, and how to cancel.
Every self-serve plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You add a credit card when you sign up, you aren't charged during the 14 days, and you can cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.
Why a Card Is Required
The card lets your account convert to your selected paid plan without interruption when the trial ends, so monitoring keeps running and nothing needs to be set up again.
During the Trial

When the Trial Ends
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically to the paid plan you selected and the first charge is taken. Once a trial has converted and the billing period has started, the charge is not refunded — see the Payment and Refund Policy in Legal Documentation.
