Compliance benchmarks
SeqOps evaluates every control in the frameworks you select against your real cloud and server configuration. See which controls pass, which fail, which resources are affected and how to fix them.
Security benchmarks describe hundreds of settings. Checking them by hand means working through long documents, one console and one server at a time.
A single overall percentage doesn’t help much either. Your team needs to know which control failed, on which resource, and what to change.
Settings also drift. A control that passed last quarter can fail after one change to a security group or server.
SeqOps turns each benchmark into a list of controls with a result for each one. Failed controls link to the resources behind them and come with remediation guidance. Your engineers can start fixing without reading the benchmark first.
One set of checks, mapped to many frameworks. Pick the ones your plan includes.
Connect your cloud accounts read-only and install the agent on your servers. Then turn on the frameworks you need. Each one stays off until you do.
SeqOps compares each control with your actual configuration. It marks the control pass, fail or not applicable. First results arrive within 24 hours of connecting.
Work through failed controls using the guidance and affected resources. Scanning continues automatically, and results update with the latest analysis.
No guessing what a percentage means. Each control in your selected framework shows pass, fail or not applicable, so gaps are easy to spot.
A failed control shows the cloud resources or servers behind it. Your team knows exactly where to look before changing anything.
Failed controls come with remediation guidance. Related findings carry a severity from Critical to Informational, so you can fix the highest-impact gaps first.
The framework score follows directly from the control results. Fix failed controls and the score reflects it after the next analysis.
Cloud accounts connect with read-only access, so SeqOps can’t change your cloud configuration. On AWS, that means an IAM role with the SecurityAudit and ViewOnlyAccess policies.
The server agent connects out over HTTPS only. SeqOps collects security metadata only, hosted in AWS eu-north-1 (Stockholm).
Role-based access, and an audit log that shows who did what and when.
Frameworks are the standards SeqOps checks against. Using SeqOps doesn’t certify your organisation.
