Cancelling Your Subscription
How cancellation works, when it takes effect, and what happens to your account until then.
Cancellation is processed through Stripe and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your account and data stay active until then, and nothing is deleted immediately.
What Happens When You Cancel
- •Your subscription is set to end at the end of the current billing period.
- •Until that date, your account keeps working and your data follows your plan's normal retention.
- •No partial refunds or credits are given for the rest of the period. See the Payment and Refund Policy in Legal Documentation.
Cancelling During a Free Trial
Cancel before the 14-day trial ends to avoid the first charge. See Your 14-Day Free Trial: What to Expect.
After Your Account Ends
SeqOps collects and processes metadata only — no customer business data or primary application data. Upon account termination, access is revoked and the related metadata is scheduled for secure deletion in accordance with the applicable retention period. Deletion is a requested and separately approved action, logged end to end, and blocked while a legal hold is in place.
Considering a Downgrade Instead
If cost is the reason, a smaller plan may fit. See Upgrading or Downgrading Your Plan.
