Understanding the SeqOps Dashboard
A guided tour of the SeqOps home screen: what each card shows and where to go for more detail.
The Security Dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in. It summarizes your vulnerability exposure and security posture, and each card links to the area of the platform with more detail.
Dashboard Cards
- •Welcome Card — A personalised greeting with shortcuts to key areas of the platform.
- •Activations Card — The status of your connected cloud accounts and server agents, so you can see coverage at a glance.
- •Modules Card — The security modules enabled for your organisation and their current status.
- •Tactical Overview — Total vulnerabilities, severity breakdown, open alerts, and compliance score.
- •Security News — The latest security bulletins relevant to your environment.
- •Recent Events — The most recent security events detected across your connected infrastructure.
- •Module Distribution — How vulnerabilities are distributed across your active modules.
- •Subscription Usage — Current usage against your plan limits for agents, cloud connects, storage, and API requests.
- •Invite Colleagues — Invite team members directly from the dashboard.
The dashboard also shows a live UTC clock, refreshes automatically at a configurable interval of 2–300 seconds, and has a manual refresh button.
Where to Drill In
- •Findings on servers — Open the device from the Devices section to see its vulnerabilities, compliance, configuration, and events. See What the Server Agent Actually Shows You, Per Device.
- •Findings in the cloud — Open the provider dashboard for AWS, Azure, or GCP for severity distribution, pass/fail results, and resource inventory.
- •Alerts — Alert HQ is where alerts are filtered, assigned, and tracked. See SeqOps Alert Categories & Severity Levels.
- •Compliance — The Compliance module shows your score and the controls that pass or fail. See Understanding SeqOps Compliance Scores.
An Empty Dashboard
If you've just signed up, the dashboard stays empty until a cloud environment or server agent is connected, and results take 6–24 hours to appear. See What Happens After You Sign Up: Your First 24 Hours.
For terms used on the dashboard, see the Glossary: Terms You'll See in SeqOps.
