Server vulnerability scanning
Install a lightweight agent on each Windows or Linux server. It reports installed software and security settings over outbound HTTPS. SeqOps matches them to known vulnerabilities, ranks each finding by severity and explains the fix.
Every server runs its own mix of software, services and settings. Each update, new install or quick fix can open a gap. Tracking all of it by hand across Windows and Linux takes time most teams don’t have.
A long list of missing patches doesn’t tell you which ones matter most. SeqOps matches what is installed on each server to known vulnerabilities and ranks the results by severity. Server findings sit next to your AWS, Azure and Google Cloud results, in one view.
It works for servers in your own data centre, in co-location or as cloud-hosted VMs. Each server needs the agent and outbound HTTPS, nothing more.
The agent reports security metadata. SeqOps turns it into findings your team can act on.
Add the server in SeqOps under Server → Activation and choose its operating system. It gets its own Tenant ID, Server ID and registration token. The credentials work once and last about 7 days.
Download the Windows or Linux package and install the agent services. Run the provisioning helper with the server’s credentials. The agent then connects out to SeqOps over HTTPS.
Results appear within 24 hours of connecting (6–24 hours). Findings are ranked from Critical to Informational. Each alert comes with guidance on how to fix it.
Server findings sit next to your AWS, Azure and Google Cloud results. Your team works from one prioritised list instead of switching between consoles.
Every server has its own tabs for vulnerabilities, services, processes, configuration, compliance and events. Open one server and see its full picture on one page.
AI-powered analysis on each alert explains the issue and suggests a fix. Assign findings to team members and follow each alert from New to Resolved.
Export a server’s data to CSV, PDF or Excel. Scheduled PDF reports arrive bi-weekly, weekly or daily, depending on your plan.
The agent makes outbound HTTPS connections on port 443. Windows servers also use outbound port 8443 during provisioning. You add no inbound firewall rules and store no cloud credentials on the server. Each server registers with its own one-time credentials.
The agent sends security metadata to SeqOps, hosted in AWS eu-north-1 (Stockholm), with TLS in transit. It works alongside your endpoint protection, EDR, MDR or SIEM.
Visit the Trust CenterRegister, install and track the agent on each Windows or Linux server.
