What Counts as a Cloud Environment

How SeqOps counts cloud environments toward your plan, and why you might not be able to connect another.

One cloud environment is one AWS account, one Azure subscription, or one GCP project. Each one counts separately toward your plan.

    How Environments Are Counted

    • •AWS — Each AWS account is one cloud environment.
    • •Azure — Each Azure subscription is one cloud environment.
    • •GCP — Each GCP project is one cloud environment.

Multiple accounts from the same provider count separately. Three AWS accounts are three cloud connectors.

    Cloud Environments per Plan

    • •Core — 1
    • •Edge — 3
    • •Max — 5
    • •Enterprise — Custom

    See Choosing Your Plan.

"Why Can't I Connect Another Environment?"

This is almost always a plan limit, not a technical problem. If you've used all the cloud environments your plan includes, upgrade or remove an environment you no longer need. See What Happens When You Hit a Plan Limit.

Removing a cloud environment may permanently delete its historical data.

    One Customer per Cloud Account

A cloud account can only belong to one customer at a time. To connect an account that is already connected under another customer, it must first be detached there.
