Monitoring Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Environments
How SeqOps coverage looks when you run across more than one cloud provider plus on-premises servers.
SeqOps monitors AWS, Azure, GCP, and Windows or Linux servers in one platform. Cloud environments connect with read-only credentials, and servers — on-premises or in the cloud — are monitored with the server agent.
How Coverage Fits Together
- •Cloud environments — Each AWS account, Azure subscription, or GCP project is connected separately and counts as one cloud environment. See What Counts as a Cloud Environment.
- •Servers — Each Windows or Linux server runs one server agent, wherever it's hosted.
- •One dashboard — The Security Dashboard summarizes everything connected. See Understanding the SeqOps Dashboard.
Per-Provider Views
Each cloud provider has its own dashboard with severity distribution, total checks, pass/fail ratios, and weekly trends, plus resource discovery and inventory by region.
Compliance Across Providers
Each provider has its own compliance catalog, and the catalogs aren't identical — for example, NIS2 is in the Azure catalog but not the AWS or GCP catalogs, and servers have their own separate catalog. See the Compliance Framework Reference.
Planning Capacity
Count cloud environments and servers separately when you size your plan: cloud environments against your cloud environment limit, servers against your server agent limit. See Choosing Your Plan.
