What Happens When You Hit a Plan Limit
How you are notified as you approach a plan limit and how upgrading works when you need more capacity.
SeqOps notifies you as you approach a plan limit on servers, cloud environments, or storage. You can upgrade at any time, and the plan change and prorated charge are handled automatically through Stripe when you confirm.
Before You Reach a Limit
Notifications are sent by email and in-app as your usage approaches each limit, showing current usage and the resource affected.
When You Reach a Limit
For most resources, reaching 100% starts a 24-hour grace period. Agents and cloud connectors work differently. For the full rules, see Capacity Limits & Grace Periods.
Getting More Capacity
- •Upgrade — The new capacity is available immediately, and you're charged the prorated difference for the rest of the billing cycle. See Upgrading or Downgrading Your Plan.
- •Free up capacity — Remove unused agents, cloud environments, or data. Removing agents or cloud environments may permanently delete their historical data.
SeqOps never upgrades your plan or charges you without your confirmation.
