    SeqOps Resource Monitoring & Inventory

Track cloud and server resources connected to the SeqOps platform.

The platform maintains an inventory of detected cloud and server resources. Resources are automatically detected when a cloud environment or server agent is connected to the platform. The platform analyzes detected resources for vulnerabilities and configuration risks.

    Resource Inventory Includes

    • •Cloud resources detected from connected environments
    • •Servers monitored using the SeqOps Agent
    • •Configuration details used for vulnerability analysis

    How Resources Are Detected

Resources appear in the SeqOps inventory when:

    • •A cloud environment is connected to the platform
    • •A server agent is installed and active
    • •Infrastructure resources are discovered during analysis

    Viewing the Resource Inventory

Administrators can view detected resources in the SeqOps platform dashboard, where they can:

    • •Review detected servers and cloud resources
    • •View vulnerability findings associated with resources
    • •Analyze configuration risks

    Compute Resources

SeqOps tracks compute instances including Amazon EC2, Azure Virtual Machines, and Google Compute Engine instances. You can view instance metadata such as size, region, operating system, and current running state directly from the inventory.

    Storage Resources

All object and block storage is catalogued, covering Amazon S3 buckets, Azure Blob Storage containers, and Google Cloud Storage buckets. The inventory includes access configuration details so you can quickly identify publicly accessible storage.

    Networking Resources

Virtual networks, subnets, security groups, network ACLs, and load balancers are all mapped automatically. This gives your team a clear picture of network segmentation and traffic flow rules across every connected environment.

    Identity Resources

IAM users, roles, groups, and service accounts are inventoried with their associated policies and permissions. This is particularly useful for access reviews and identifying overly permissive configurations.

    Database Resources

Managed database instances such as Amazon RDS, Azure SQL, and Google Cloud SQL are tracked along with their engine versions, backup configurations, and encryption status.

    Keeping Your Inventory Current

You can trigger a manual refresh of the resource inventory from the Cloud Management dashboard at any time. Use the built-in filters to search by account, region, resource type, or tag to quickly locate specific assets.

    Troubleshooting Missing Resources

If expected resources do not appear in the inventory:

    • •Verify the cloud environment integration is active and correctly configured.
    • •Confirm the server agent is running and connected.
    • •Check permissions configured for the cloud integration.
