Upgrading or Downgrading Your Plan
How upgrades and downgrades are applied and billed, and what to remove before a downgrade.
Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated for the rest of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Upgrading
- •Upgrade at any time.
- •The new plan's capacity is available immediately.
- •You're charged the prorated difference for the rest of the current billing cycle. Billing runs on Stripe, which calculates the proration automatically when you confirm.
Downgrading
- •A downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle, not during the current one.
- •If your current usage is over the new plan's limits, SeqOps shows exactly what to remove before the downgrade can go ahead — for example, "You need to remove 3 agents" or "You need to remove 2 cloud accounts."
- •Removing agents or cloud accounts may permanently delete their historical data, such as findings, vulnerabilities, configuration information, detections, and reports. Export anything you need to keep first. See Exporting Audit-Ready Compliance Reports.
