Webhook Setup
Receive signed event notifications at your own HTTP endpoint.
Webhooks send an HTTP POST to your endpoint when events occur in SeqOps. Failed deliveries are retried, and every payload is signed so you can verify it came from SeqOps.
Creating a Webhook
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Webhooks.
- Click Add Webhook.
- Enter your endpoint URL.
- Select which events to subscribe to.
- Optionally, add a signing secret for verification.
Payload Format
Webhook payloads are JSON and include:
- •Event type and timestamp
- •Full event details
- •Organization and resource identifiers
Retry Policy
Failed deliveries (a non-2xx response) are retried up to 5 times with exponential backoff.
Verifying Payloads
Every payload includes an X-SeqOps-Signature header for HMAC verification. Set the optional signing secret under Settings → Integrations → Webhooks.
