Where Your Data Lives: Residency & Storage
Where SeqOps stores and processes your data, what data it collects, and how long it is kept.
Your data is stored and processed in the EU, in AWS Stockholm (eu-north-1). SeqOps collects metadata only.
How Your Data Is Handled
SeqOps collects and processes metadata only — no customer business data or primary application data. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS), cloud credentials are encrypted before storage, and data is stored and processed within the EU. Upon account termination, access is revoked and the related metadata is scheduled for secure deletion in accordance with the applicable retention period. Deletion is a requested and separately approved action, logged end to end, and blocked while a legal hold is in place.
What SeqOps Collects
SeqOps collects security-relevant metadata from connected cloud environments and servers. It does not access or store customers' business data or primary application data.
How Long Data Is Kept
Two different things are often confused:
- •Retention on an active account — How far back your history goes while your account is active: 14 days on Core, 30 days on Edge, 45 days on Max, and custom on Enterprise.
- •Deletion after account termination — What happens once an account is closed, described above.
Your plan's retention window describes history on an active account. It does not describe what happens after termination.
