    Exporting Audit-Ready Compliance Reports

How to generate and export compliance and security reports to share with auditors and stakeholders.

Generate an on-demand report from Reports and export it as PDF, CSV, or Excel. PDF is best for sharing with an auditor; CSV and Excel are best when someone needs to work with the data.

    Generating and Exporting a Report

    1. Go to Reports.
    2. Generate an on-demand report. Reports cover vulnerability status, compliance posture, and trend analysis.
    3. Export the report as PDF, CSV, or Excel.

    Export Formats

    • •PDF — A fixed document to share with auditors and stakeholders or keep for your records.
    • •CSV — Raw data for spreadsheets or other tools.
    • •Excel — Data ready to filter and analyze in a spreadsheet.

Coverage reports show which assets are covered by scanning and where gaps exist, which helps an auditor see the scope of what was assessed. Alert data in Alert HQ and data on each device can be exported in the same formats.

What a Report Shows, and What It Doesn't

A compliance report shows how your environment aligns with your selected framework, based on the controls SeqOps evaluated. It is not a certification or an external audit result. See Understanding SeqOps Compliance Scores.

    Keep Copies Before Removing Data

Deleting a server or cloud environment can permanently remove its historical data, including reports. Export what you need first. See Uninstalling or Decommissioning the Agent.
